Sex ed

I have just been given permission to write lesson plans and train tutors to deliver sex ed lessons throughout the school.

I am very excited. Delivering sex education lessons is one of my all time favourite things to do. (Yes, I know I am slightly abnormal)

  1. How cool! I’m probably going to write a chapter of my thesis on sex ed, so I don’t think you’re weird at all 😉

  2. Hurrah for you!

I’d be interested to hear more from you, and Jack: how do you even start preparing this? I wouldn’t know where to start…and would probably laugh throughout which is probably not professional. 🙂

  3. I don’t think I’m the best person to act – my chapter is going to be on sex education that isn’t being delivered, and the various barriers to it! Don’t forget I’m currently in the realm of chin-stroking academics, not people who actually do the important work!

  4. The best preparation for teaching sex ed is not to be embarrassed. I get teachers to come up with as many slang names for various body parts and acts as possible. Its always entertaining!
